Over the past year, I’ve been helping modernize WordPress websites for a large organization, and I’ve learned that the biggest challenges usually aren’t technical. They’re about understanding your audience, making content easy to find, improving accessibility, keeping sites secure, and creating a better experience for everyone.

In this meetup, I’ll share some of the lessons, mistakes, and wins from that journey, along with practical ideas you can apply whether you’re building a personal blog, a business website, a nonprofit, or managing dozens of WordPress sites.

This won’t be a sales pitch or a deep dive into code. Just a casual conversation about what works, what doesn’t, and how WordPress continues to evolve.
